Casey is a passionate, empowering, and down-to-earth Psychologist and Health Coach who has a lifetime of experience behind him. His career as a Psychologist involves working in the following:

  • Private practice (individual, family, and relationship counselling)

  • Youth work and disability services

  • Prison (youth and adults)

  • Occupational rehabilitation (e.g., WorkCover Qld claims, life insurance claims, DVA etc)

  • ADF members/non-members 

 

Casey is as skilled as he is passionate in assisting clients to overcome their life challenges and generate their own personal power. He places high importance on the therapeutic alliance, striving to create a calm, empowering, and safe space for clients to learn and grow. 

Casey has undergone training in a range of different therapeutic approaches, interventions, and techniques during his time as a Psychologist. Some of these treatment modalities include Master's Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Person Centred Therapy, and Vocational Counselling.

Casey utilises his training and experience to help people with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, suicidal/deliberate self-harm behaviours, grief and loss management, personality disorders, anger management, interpersonal, behavioural and relationship difficulties, or childhood developmental disorders (e.g., ASD and ADHD).

At present, Casey works with people across the lifespan, starting from the age of 13, as well as individuals and relationship counselling. His main focus is on positive psychology, personal empowerment, wellness, and health. Casey supports clients to achieve their goals and live more meaningful lives using strategies individualised for each person.
