Fatima is a registered psychologist who brings experience from private practice, corrections, and immigration settings. She is committed to creating a calm, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to open up, explore their experiences, and work towards meaningful change.
Fatima supports clients presenting with a wide range of concerns and enjoys working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life stages. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based frameworks, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-informed Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She focuses on helping clients build insight, develop practical coping skills, and move toward the goals that matter most to them.
With a background in both community and institutional settings, Fatima brings a nuanced understanding of adjustment, stress, trauma, and complex presentations. She is passionate about empowering clients, strengthening resilience, and supporting wellbeing through a collaborative, person-centred approach.
Alongside her clinical work, Fatima is completing a Master of Neuroscience part-time, further deepening her understanding of the brain and behaviour.
Outside of psychology, she enjoys playing squash and swimming as part of a balanced lifestyle.
