Biography
Dr Sarah Pollock is a clinical neuropsychologist and clinical psychologist with experience in the assessment and intervention of in the areas of mental illness and cognitive functioning. Sarah has experience in treating a range of mental health issues, and has specialised in treating the following conditions: anxiety disorders, depression, grief and loss, adjustment disorders, stress, and behavioural problems.
Previously, Sarah has worked in private practice, mental health services (community, inpatient and outpatient) and overseas in specialist neurorehabilitation centres. Sarah’s intervention framework is determined from a client-focused perspective. Therapy approaches can include cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, solution-focused therapy, schema therapy or neuropsychological rehabilitation.
Sarah has experience in administering a wide range of psychometric assessments in adult, adolescent and child populations. She has experience in providing assessment and treatment and rehabilitation for acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, epilepsy, intellectual impairment, developmental conditions and various psychological disorders. Sarah also has experience in conducting child and family behavioural assessments.
Sarah is registered with the Medicare program and Private Health Insurers, and rebates may be available for consultations with her.
